Panth Rattan Late Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra was a great visionary who understood the importance of Education. He was more concerned about the welfare of an average farmer, worker or land labourer since the children of such people didn’t have access to even primary education.

In order to impart quality education at affordable cost to the children of the common people of the area, Jathedar Tohra founded Baba Zorawar Singh Baba Fateh SinghEducation Trust in 1985. Philanthropists of the area liberally contributed for this cause and B.Z.S.F.S. Sen. Sec. Public School was established in the year 1986. The trustees included Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra as its founder President, S. Kirpal Singh Libra as the Chairman & Col. Shamsher Singh as the Vice – Chairman.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee leased 12 and half acres of land to the Trust for setting up the school. The finances for construction of the building were arranged through liberal donations by eminent persons, social workers and general public. Initially a block of twelve rooms was constructed. Thereafter with the savings from the school funds and donations from general public, a magnificent building was constructed.

The school is named after the younger sahibzadas of Tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh Ji who were bricked alive for the cause of Truth, Justice and fight against Tyranny. The school is located near Gurdwara Jyoti Sarup crossing.

B.Z.S.F.S. Sr. Sec. Public School is an English Medium. The School is running Arts, Medical, Non-Medical and Commerce Streams up to 10+2 level both for boys and girls. Separate blocks have been earmarked for Junior & Senior Secondary classes. A spacious auditorium, Principal’s residence and 13 staff quarters were added subsequently. The Trust is running three more branches of schools at Naulakha Sahib, Karhali Sahib and Manji Sahib Kottan.

After the unfortunate demise of Panth Rattan Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra, S. Kirpal Singh Libra Ex-MLA was unanimously elected as President of the Trust.

S. Kirpal Singh Libra an eminent politician and social activist played a pivotal role in promoting education in Fatehgarh Sahib District.

As a dedicated leader he worked tirelessly to improve educational infrastructure, increase access to quality education and provide opportunities for students to excel. His tireless efforts led to upgrading the existing facilities and provision of scholarships to deserving students.

Through his initiatives many students were able to pursue their academic goal and the overall literacy rate in the region improved. His efforts have had a lasting impact on the educational landscape of Fatehgarh District and B.Z.S.F.S. Sen. Sec. Public School attained great repute during his tenure.

Due to the sudden & untimely demise of S.Kirpal Singh Libra on 7th May, 2007. Sardar Amarinder Singh Libra has been elected unanimously as President of the Trust.

S. Amarinder Singh Libra is a suave gentleman with positive outlook . Under his able stewardship the school is on the path of progress in each and every sphere aspect.
